I created this commission of the 3 Arts Club cafe in Chicago in what is the home of Restoration Hardware’s showroom in the city. This commission went to a special couple who had met and spent time in Chicago and wanted to remember it with a painting above their fireplace. I used a picture I’d taken when having coffee there one day after an art fair.
